Outdoor tiling has to deal with thermal movement, water and heavy use. On larger areas those forces compound, so the preparation, bedding, joint layout and drainage strategy matter more than the tile itself.

Detailing
What separates an outdoor area that lasts
Externally tiled areas fail for predictable reasons. Addressing them is standard scope on our projects, not an upgrade.
Falls and drainage
Screeds set to fall towards drainage points, with thresholds, strip drains and edges resolved before tiling.
Movement control
Perimeter and intermediate movement joints located to suit the slab and area, rather than added as an afterthought.
Membranes where required
Balconies, podiums and areas over habitable space waterproofed with the appropriate system and detailing.
Full bedding and slip resistance
Solid bed coverage for external tiles, with finishes selected for the traffic and wet-area conditions.
